Social Studies

This year students will be studying many exciting topics. We will be studying Map Skills, the American Revolution, the Constitution, the Industrial Revolution, Westward Expansion, Slavery, the Civil War, and Immigration. 

Our text is called History Alive!.  It allows students of all abilities to "experience" history through debates, skits, billboards, etc.  This class set remains in the classroom for all to use.

One other series we will be using only as an in-class resource is called Social Studies- United States History.  It incorporates history, geography, civics, economics, and culture.
