In science this year, we will focus on the following life science learning domains

LS1 - All living organisms have identifiable structures and characteristics that allow for survival (organisms, populations, and species).

LS2 - Matter cycles and energy flow through an ecosystem.

LS3 - Groups of organisms show evidence of change over time (structures, behaviors and biochemistry).

LS4 - Humans are similar to other species in many ways and yet are unique among Earth's life forms.
In
science this week, students will continue to answer
the essential question "How do populations change
over time" by completing the evolution of peppered
moth activity, learning how to read phylogenetic
trees and taking an end of unit exam on Friday
(evolution).
