A Trip to the Big City
On
February 2, 2012, the Inferno team will travel to Providence for a day filled
with exciting activities. First, we
will go to PPAC to see the performance “Fusionworks – Head and Heart: Making the
Right Decisions. This dance
production depicts several social issues faced by many middle school students
and offers options and alternatives for making good choices.
Next,
we will walk to Providence Place Mall to have lunch at the food court.
Students may choose from an array of restaurants and cafes.
If they prefer, they may bring a bag lunch or have the school provide
one.
After
lunch, we will spend the afternoon ice skating at the outdoor Bank of America
rink at Kennedy Plaza. Skate
rentals will be covered in the cost of the trip.
It is our expectation that all students participate.
Even if they are novice skaters, they will enjoy watching their teachers
slip, slide and fall down!
