The next unit in math addresses proportional relationships with respect to linear functions and slope. Nonlinear functions will also be studied as well as graphing systems of equations.
Each day when the students come to class, there is a warm up that is completed alone and then discussed as a class. This warm up is a smaller piece of the bigger picture that happens during the daily lesson where more complicated ideas are developed. It is strongly recommended that this warm up, along with the daily notes, are studied for 15 to 30 minutes each night to not only keep the information fresh, but to also check for understanding.
