In class this week we are working on writing scientific paragraphs that provide evidence.  We are using graphic organizers to help students get organized and put their ideas on paper.  The students then use the completed graphic organizer to write a paragraph.  Many students have commented about how easy they have found writing  these paragraphs.  I hope this enthusiasm for writing continues.

We are really starting to dive into our first unit "Populations and Ecosystems".  Students have completed their first vocabulary quiz and we have reviewed much of the material learned from last year.  We will be starting to learn information about Laboratory Safety, 4 corners writing, and food webs.
