Family and Consumer Science

Welcome to Family and Consumer Science!

FACS is a semester course offered for all sixth grade students, on an every other day rotation.

Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate nutrition and wellness practices through a variety of strategies. Be sure to look for some samples from the cooking labs!

A unit on the skills needed to produce, alter or repair textile products and apparel will also be explored. A News Letter form will be sent home in the next few weeks with information about the Textiles Unit. This form will need to be signed and returned by the date specified.
